The Artemide Chlorophilia LED Suspension by Ross Lovegrove feels light as air, featuring delicate clear leaves that come alive once the light illuminates them. A polished aluminum module sits below the leaves (in either 1 or 2 tiers) sending dancing shadows against the ceiling above. The plant-like diffusers are also given a Fresnel lens texture to enhance the optics of the light created.
Since 1959, Artemide has created a wide array of modern table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces and suspensions. Technologically advanced, and with styles ranging from clean and refined to sculptural and avant garde, many Artemide designs--especially the Tolomeo and Tizio--have become icons of contemporary lighting design.
