Sufficient light with a look like a wicker basket. The Laika Large Pendant from Blu Dot brings a whole lot of texture and dappled ambient light into modern spaces. It features paper rattan woven by hand onto a White powder coated steel wire frame over 2 and-a-half feet around. The rattan allows light to peek out the sides while focusing the majority of it up and downward onto table surfaces to create a nice mix of both focused and ambient light.
In 1997, Blu Dot was established in Minneapolis by three college friends with a shared passion for art, architecture and design. Then and today, their goal is to bring good design to as many people as possible, collaborating to create modern home furnishings and accessories that are useful, affordable and exceedingly desirable.
