Intricate texture separates the Foscarini Rituals 2 Flushmount from ordinary ceiling fixtures, emitting a tranquil light through the shade with warm emotion. Initially molded with a “stationary” glass blowing method which imprints concentric rings on the shade, the subsequent process of immersing the glass in acid gives a unique chalky finish much like a paper lantern. The broad shade obscures the small canopy, appearing to float against the ceiling from below.
