Terzani has distilled its lighting in to two distinct collections, each expressing a different approach to the company’s longstanding desire to combine traditional handcraftsmanship and technical innovation. The “Memory” assortment aggregates the works of Jean-Francois Crochet, offering a warm and inviting Deco-informed collection using materials such as iron, wood and Scavo glass. The “PreciousDesign” collection expresses Terzani’s commitment to design-forward innovation by enhancing longstanding artisanal practices with cutting-edge technology.
The company originally produced traditional handcrafted lamps using Tuscany wood, iron and Murano glass. Today, delicate metal chains, layers of gold and silver leaf, and shimmering crystal “pins” are just some of the “precious” materials that can be found in this collection of innovative heritage light sculptures.
The Volver LED Linear Suspension is pretty spectacular, a resplendent mass of burnished cascading fluidity. Elaborate elongated lengths of nickel-plated chains are liberally and elegantly draped over a hollowed central frame that houses the LEDs, creating a ceaseless contemporary sparkle. The popular Argent collection features clustered collectives of hand-shaped metal discs crafted into cloud-like silhouettes, the angled surfaces emanating a shimmering glow.
