Shipping Charges & Freight Shipping Options
Shipping Surcharges
Some manufacturers require the addition of a shipping surcharge. Shipping surcharges are added to cover the costs of performing certain service levels outside the basic shipping method. When applicable, the shipping surcharge is shown on the product page, in your shopping cart, and during checkout.
Freight Shipping Options
Special order, oversized, fragile, and heavy items may need to be shipped by freight, and a freight cost will be applied. The freight shipping options and cost will be presented after your shipping address is entered during checkout.
Below are the following freight shipping options:
Curbside Delivery
With our standard Curbside Delivery, your items will be delivered right outside of your residence or business – for example, to your front sidewalk, driveway, or porch. This does not include delivery to indoor locations or above the first floor and it does not include unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging. This option is great for large light fixtures and small freight items.
First Threshold Delivery
With First Threshold Delivery, your items will be brought into your home, just inside the garage, front door, or side door on a pallet. This does not include delivery above the first floor and it does not include unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging. This option is great for customers wanting heavier items brought inside.
Room of Choice
With Room of Choice Delivery, your items will be brought into your home and placed in the room of your choice. This does not include unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging. This option is great for heavy items being delivered to apartments and condominiums that have elevators and stairs.
Inside Delivery w/ Assembly
With Inside Delivery w/Assembly, your item will be delivered to the room of your choice, unpacked, assembled, and packaging will be removed. This is not available for all products. If your product qualifies, you will have the freight shipping options available during check out.
Freight transit time is typically 1-2 weeks (items delivering to remote or limited access areas may extend this time frame) and cannot be expedited. If you are purchasing items that ship by freight to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or Canada, then additional charges may apply.
